Some examples of our Recovery through the Arts projects include:
The Together Project
The Together Project was established to engage those in recovery with the arts. Dance and drama are at the heart of the project. Participants express themselves through movement and other art forms.
We take recovery to the stage with impressive results. Because it doesn’t feel like therapy, participants respond well to this form of self-exploration.
Recovery Street Film Festival
The Recovery Street Film Festival focuses on filmmakers who have a lived experience of recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, whether it is themselves or a loved one. The project encourages anyone affected by problems relating to drugs and alcohol to make short films. The films are then shortlisted by a panel of film industry experts before being screened as part of the Recovery Street Film Festival across the UK.
