Supporting you with Housing

Our recovery housing provision is well-established:

Residential treatment services – for people who are ready to stop using drugs or alcohol.

Housing – for people who have achieved abstinence but would benefit from advice and guidance to sustain their recovery.

Independent living – self-contained, secure accommodation for people with a history of drug and alcohol use provided by a landlord who understands recovery.

People who use our services sometimes progress through every stage of the pathway. Others join us after they have successfully completed treatment, or leave us when they feel they have made sufficient progress and are ready to take the next steps on their own.

We offer opportunities to get involved in Phoenix or in the local community, as well as advice and guidance to access training, education or employment.

"After I finished my residential rehab program at Phoenix's Sheffield Residential service, I moved into Phoenix's Supported Housing, this was a really important step for my growth, independence, and in taking responsibility for myself. I still received support from the residential and often went back for groups.

When I felt ready, I moved onto Phoenix's Recovery Housing where there was less structure and restrictions, but I still got support from staff and peers. I have now moved into one of Phoenix’s Independent Living Flats. I have new responsibilities that I’m now able to cope with, I don’t miss any bill payment anymore and finally feel like I have a home."
