John has over 20 years’ experience working across health and social care at operational, strategic, local and national levels. John is committed to better understanding and tackling the inequalities which create many of the conditions which can lead people to need support.
John has led and delivered services with and for people in addiction and recovery and is a strong advocate of asset-based approaches; his PhD focused on the development of an assessment designed to identify and help develop assets in people looking to initiate and sustain recovery.
Outside work, John enjoys watching and playing football and spending time with his family.
